UPDATE: Victory! The Liberal government announced in the House that they will support our proposal and revise the composition of the committee on electoral reform. That's excellent news. The new composition of the committee will reflect the actual outcome of the last elections. It will allow a genuine democratic debate on the reform of our electoral system.

The NDP will reinstate door-to-door mail delivery

An NDP Government will cancel Canada Post’s plan to eliminate door-to-door mail delivery and will reinstate delivery in all communities affected by cuts announced in December 2013.

"This is about fairness. The cuts to home delivery impact seniors and persons living with disabilities the most. For them, this service is essential," commented NDP spokesperson for matters concerning Canada Post, Alexandre Boulerice (Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie).

I learned that the Conservatives want to make changes to the procedures of the Senate in order to fast track the adoption of Bill C-377 and C-525.
