Listening to Murray Rankin last weekend really inspired me. He really brought it home.

I've been asked to let my name stand for the nomination; I've taken up the Dogwoon initiative to get known, I write letters to the local paper, and will be travelling around to farmers markets and fairs this spring signing up people. Just ordered a canopy for that. Also pushing local agricultural development, that gives me something to talk about because I'm not really an extrovert and don't like glad-handing and kissing babies so much as talking about issues although I do that well for others. Thats it for the moment, although I'm thinking of things I can sell as well....

Door knocking at election time. Our NDP candidate is polling well here. Scared of a Con slip in if the nonCon vote is split evenly. They are a bad fairy tale. I fear their glazed eyes.

It is difficult for me to state when I am available until I know the expectations. Please fill me in as to what you require me to do. This is another blatant example of union bashing and a further detriment to workers' rights.

I have a circle of emails, involving Union members, Human right activists, Progressive Political minds and Community organisations.
I may be helpful in circulating info and campaigns.

I work full-time. However as the National President for the Canadian Postmasters and Assistants Association, I believe if there is more I can be doing, to keep good paying jobs for women in rural Canada, then I need to be doing it. Our membership is 95 percent women. Anything I can do to assist in putting a stop to the Conservative machine, is time well spent.

I want to bring awareness that a woman of my age and stature can and will do the job, efficiently, with loyalty, dedication, quality, production and time management skills.
